How to use fog and atmospheric scattering for exterior rende

There was a "how to use fog" topic however it was about interior renderings. I want to use it on big landscapes like:

How can i reach this effect? thanks

Hi JuM,
The pricipal should be the same. Create a cube or other volume that will contain the fog.
Make sure the camera is not inside it, use the PT or PMC kernel with a good amount of caustic blur, a specular material with scattering, full transmission, no reflection, fake shadows and index 1. You will most likely need to have a very small value for the scattering scale.

This is very helpfull. I have a feature request

. All of these steps could be one click solution with 2-3 parameters. You may make a macro script with a basic UI. Anyways thanks for your help.
