Hi, I'm very happy with Octane Render and the Archicad plugin... ;) Until now I used use Artlantis for fast draft and maxwell for production, but octane beats both of them in many areas.
I'm learning octane so I have many questions yet... I'm rendering and interior with AO, and It has a strange shadows in the ceiling... I has probe with many AO dist without luck.
How can I do this?

On the other hand for the administrators can I do a review of octane for my blog? can I do some videos of octane for Archicad and upload to my youtube channels? I have a blog and and youtube channel about Archicad in Spanish and I sure that my followers like Octane ;) (the blog and the youtube channels are in spanish)
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

Beautiful scene!

At a guess, I would say there is a black light geometry fitting in the roof, or some other geometry blocking. Would it be possible to send me a file with just that roof and light fitting pls and I can see what is causing it. My email is paul at physicalc-software dot com.

I will forward you questions re: blog and video to the Octane team.

Paul

I checked with Otoy, and they would be very happy if you reviewed the plugin on your blog and posted videos.

Tweak rayepsilon, as Paul said me, is the key!!!

Setting the rayepsilon is an area that the plugin needs to handle better. ArchiCAD has a wide range of polygon sizes, so I'm not sure that there is one rayepsilon that will suit all scenes - but I would love to hear from people as to what rayepsilon they normally use. Then I have have a recommended starting value.
