Here is a WIP for this project.
I want to make an animation with 84 houses like this one, they´re going to be one next to the other.
I am looking for the best way to present it.
I will appreciate any feedback/comments to improve my render and/or presentation.
Modeled in Blender 2.67
Rendered in Octane 1.10

Thanks for the comment.
I had trouble with the tiles on the roof, so had to change it to just textures since it took all of my gtx memory.
Here is what i achieve so far. Still have to add more elements like cars or few people on the street, more interest to the scene.
Another issue I encounter, when i send the animation to render from blender It wont render in Octane the TargetRender Node. It is obvious the difference.
Any ideas any body how to do tell blender to render from the targeRender node?

Hi Omorenof,
How are you duplicating the houses? Are you using instancing? With blender it might not be too straight forward but it should be do-able.
This will be a huge advantage if you are running out of VRAM.
Thanks
Chris.

Using the instancing add-on somewhere in the Blender sub-forum, it's not too difficult to export arrays like this.

Hi Fooze, thanks for the help. I duplicated all houses with "Alt+D" which stills takes away a lot of my VRAM, I am going to try instancing.

Hey Daniel, i didn't know there was a different plug-in for exporting instancing, that is great. Well, too late for this project since my deadline is Saturday.
It was a shame i didn't end up using Octane Render for this project since i am still missing a few technical aspects, i ended up using Cycles but next time Ill try instancing.
Thank you all for your help. Ill post a link here by saturday or sunday to show the end result.

Im a Blender user, and all you need is the instancing patch. You already have your scene set up properly if you used Alt+D. Once you have the patch installed in Blender, there is a button to export instancing information. you then have to set it up in Octane, but you should have no problems with VRAM and can probably bring back the tiles.
Let me know if you have problems with instances.
