Help with noisy image

Hi all,
I'm fairly new with octane render and I've made a render of a interior but I'm getting so much noise after 10000 samples, is there any trick for it?
Also, I've made this question before but got the topic rejected, I think because the image attached is on my portfolio. How can I attach the render in order to prevent this?
Thanks in advance.

Use the module next to the text field when posting. It´s named "upload attachment"

Oh my god! I didn't scroll down the post page

Thanks Paquito
Here is the image, the problem is the noise, if I render this on higher resolutions I need to stop at high samples number in order to reduce it but the rendertimes get also huge. Does anyone know tricks on octane to reduce noise on this sort of images?
Thanks

What kernel are you using?

Hi, you can get very good results with direct light kernel and fake_glass.
Also you could use portals (it is a material) in front of every window.
If you need pathracing reduce "maxdepth" setting to the minimum, often 4-5 is enough.
Fake glass is in Octane since 1.13 IIRC.
Cheers, mib.

You can get the same result using DL in a fraction of time. Would you share the scene to play with it?

Interiors are going to be noisy in general, but there are some things you can do to make it better
Thing is to understand what makes noise.
1. Lots of glass
2. lots of glossy materials
3. lots of indirect lighting (if you have a room with one window and your only light source is outside, this will increase noise)
So, one thing you can do is remove walls that are not visible, this will increase direct light and decrease indirect light. If you are using an HDRI, you can use one that will simulate interior lighting to so it looks like there is a wall there.
Turn some lights on inside. This increase direct lighting
Use PMC kernel mode. This mode starts off noisier than the other nodes and renders slower, but it really really helps remove noise and fireflys
Render at a higher resolution than what you want your final image to be and then reduce in photoshop

Hi,
Thanks for your comments, the kernel is PMC with 8 maxdepth. Actually the windows are portal materials.
The problem is that with DL I get blue results but is much much faster.
These are the scene from other angle with 32000 samples and the other side with DL (default settings) and 10000 samples.
Why could be the blue tint everywere? is the AO?
I'll try to hide unseen polygons (should be a good idea to the exporter) because at 1920x1080 PMC 4 maxdepth and 32000 samples I'm going to 11 hours, but with DL and same resolution and samples only two hours!
Thanks

Hi Asticles,
Try playing with the camera response settings.

Hi Asticles,
Try playing with the camera response settings.

And try increasing your AO max distance. For interiors it must be larger than the interior space or else you get blue light from the sky that should be blocked.
