Is there any way to mimic spot light with hdr maps?
I this image I used Sun System, with no good results for HDRmaps...

Yes, there is, althou it's not the most efficient method, just a plain black with a spot of light HDRI would do the job, check the demosuit, it comes with some free hdri's also there is a thread in resources with free hdri's check there for a studio setup with only one spotlight.
