I'm really suprised with big gift from a Octane For Cinema 4D user.
First i send big thanks to Salil aka rainasawrus for this samples scenes.
He made a lot of sample scenes/materials
I hope it's going to help many users to learn the plugin.
Octane Render Pack is a Cinema 4D .lib4d file with Materials and HDRI files . Every material has been designed for high quality photo realistic renders, that will make your motion design work and product pack shots look the best in the world. There are every possible material styles available for any look you would like to get in place.
You will need the octane render standalone and the octane render cinema 4d plugin , which can be purchased here -render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=29638
scene files used in the video are also included. Studio setups are included as well to quickly organize your scenes.
Most scene files were rendered between a time frame of 8 – 10 seconds per frame, on average. The maximum time taken per frame render was 4 minutes. The render times are directly dependent on materials used (glassy/reflective) and quality settings.
Compared to other render engines, octane render will make your renders look outstanding in a very short time, and allow post processing within Cinema 4D, reducing your work flow time, and increasing your productivity.
Octane Render Plugin for Cinema 4D is in beta, and is being developed by - aoktar
Some stone shaders and glass materials within the Octane Render Pack were made by - immortal-arts

Brilliant pack, thanks so much Salil! It's really useful and great to see how the materials are put together in C4D.

I'm using 0.3.4 (because it's stable) but thumbs sometimes only appear (and update or not) in the scene browser. I can't see any material thumbs in the Content Library Browser (which drives me crazy! ) but this is work in progress. I'm just glad to have 0.3.4 giving me nice renders for now :D

Aoktar is aware of the C4D Library Browser thumbnail problem.

how about 0.42? I like to hear about 0.42.
I'm trying to translate to sdk 1.14 with fighting stability problems. C4d was not designed for this kind of renderer. Objects and materials has no unique id for identification the nodes. Most stability problems was caused because of this. Also material previews are depended same system.
Finally i'm aware every problem. Actually relatively a stabile method was applied for browser previews but except mix materials. Still has some other problems.

I'll install 0.42 and report back!

You're doing a great job. I can imagine it all gets really complex "under the hood" where C4D is concerned!
