Hi there!
how can i reduce hotpixel?
i use direct lighting.
Hotpixel is 1.
Light comes from a hdr and i use Beta 0.42

hi nvn,
have you activated the importance sampling option in the enviroment tag?
anyway if you don't want to wait you could use the hotpixel removal with value between 0.3/0.6, at 0 you have the max effect but you loose a lot of details. personally i prefer to render at double/quad size and then downscale in gimp

some hdr's produce more hotpixels. Also sometimes adjusting gamma of hdr will help to decrease hotpixels.
