Smoothing a Mesh in POser

THis is probablly more a Poser question. I am doing some close ups and my poser mesh is not smooth. (Even with Octane Shaders having smooth option turned on) I could export it out to Maya, smooth it and bring it back in etc. But is there a way inside Poser to smooth the mesh via a plugin or natively?

Thanks

Peter

I don't know if this is what you're asking or looking for, but Snarly has a subdivider script up, on his page. I lets you well, yea ... subdivide figures or objects, before you render.
Maybe it is of use in your case.
The script can be found here: http://snarlygribbly.org/3d/forum/

Octane Smoothing only works if the Octane geometry has normals. Poser is a little different to all the other Octane host apps, in that it always supplies scene geometry with valid normals (whereas a lot of others don't). So the default is smoothing "ON' (because there are certain to be normals).

If your object looks "unsmoothed" it must be because Poser has provided unsmoothed normals to Octane. This would happen if you have "smooth" turned off for that prop, or the "crease angle" is too low - so check those first. It may also be a case of too few polygons in the mesh, in which case Ericks subdivider solution is the way to go.
