hello all,
i can buy a quadro 6000.. and i want know if quadro 6000 is very very powerfull that other cheap card (gtx480 and other)
or if price is too high for this card?

No, not for octane, it has 448 cuda cores, gtx 480 480 cores. If you don't need it for extreme cad or 3dmax work go for a gtx 400 series.
The big difference is the Video Ram, the quadro has 6GB Vram, the gtx 480 1.5 GB.
If you work on very high resolution and heavy textures the Vram is the limit here.
You could also mix gfx cards, a smaller quadro for display and gtx for octane, or both for octane for final rendering.
