What graphics cards are good for Octane? - Budget: $200-$300

Hi, I'm looking to purchase Octane Render, but first, after being blown away by the demo, it became apparent that my GeForce 8800GT was a little out of date for quick renders. So I've concluded that I will need to buy a new graphics card to work with Octane. The big question is, which one do I buy? I've seen a lot of talk about GTX460s and GTX480s, although I'm unsure of their price (I get a little confused when looking up graphics cards as there seem to be various versions), and I'm looking to spend up to around $300 for something that will do a good job (preferrably $200-$250). What do you suggest I get, and am I actually going to get anything worth buying within my budget range?

I'd get one of those new GTX460 cards with 2GB ram. that's fast and lots of video memory for larger scenes/resolutions.

I'm a little confused. Are they actually out yet?

hi, i want to jump on the train aswell.
i need a new gfx card anyway.
i found some performance charts somewhere in these forums which seemed to favor the gtx470 as with a good price-per-mega
but now I read here there is 460 with 2gb
radiance, would you recommend a 460.2gb over the 470.1,2gb?

yes i would, but keep in mind that until cuda 3.2 is released you can only get 66% of it's speed in octane.
