BMW 750il dayshot - critiques welcome

I have been watching the masters at work here and am trying my first attempt at photoreal shots of a BMW model. I will be working exclusively with car shots and would welcome any of your critiques on how to better the shots.
I am going to be doing a series on day and night shots so here are the day ones first.
TIA

Looking good! You are losing a lot of detail in the dark areas. Try to use a different camera response (ektachrome 64CD with 2.2 gamma and custom white balance is what I usually use as a starting point)

Thanks for the points. Here is another with your suggestions. I really like the front of the car but not sure about the rear, I think it does not have the same realism.
