HDRi question

Hello, I am batch rendering an animation.

I notice the HDRi is about 68MB in Windows Explorer, but when I load it, Octane shows it's using more thatn 600 MB of the video cards RAM.
So Octane takes a relatively long time to show the first frame.

Question: I have the impression that during the batch render, Octane is loading the HDRi image every frame.
Is that normal? Is there something to deactivate that?.

The reason why I believe that is happening is because when I load the HDRi, Octane is taking about 18 seconds to render the first frame (low resolution test render).
Once it's loaded, it takes about 7 seconds to rerender IPR every time I adjust my camera.

But when I do the batch render, once again it takes about 18 seconds per frame.

Any ideas? Suggestions to try? Thanks in advance!!!!

I've never tried, but I believe photoshop should work just fine: reaize & save. probably You cut loading times, but take a look into rendering times. for some reason, different HDRs might make a difference in render times.
