Here I drop a proposal for an on-line sales web we are to show, I hope they see they are in need of good CG of their products
The sample is the before/after removing the old crappy images and replacing them with good Octane renders.

That would be awesome. Is there any tool we can use along with Octane to get that?

The best way should be to made 360° renders and made it interactive with some ActionScript Flash, for example.
I made an example with 180 images, more you have, best is the animation but heavy is the file (here, 7,7 Mo) :

..to use flash in 2013 /with all responsive design, mobile first approach around booming/ is a stupid idea on it's own, as You cut too much users flash as delivery platforme keeps dying since apple launched iPad =)

What is stupid is that Apple don't support Flash, you can't have the same fluidity with JS. But you can display a poor version when Flash is not supported, for the unfortunate Apple user, so it's not very problematic.
For the future, the best way could be the HTML 5, but I don't know much more about it.
solomon : I use an home made script.

well, I do have several A products, but i'm not a fanboy..
".. you can't have the same fluidity with JS.." - where from You got this? =)
do You know the reason why flash wasn't included in ipad? 'cos it's too taxing on resources - A said no, 'cos adobe refused to put work in it..,- it drains bateries & on older sytems just hangs - completely opposity what You've just written.
pourly implementation has nothing to do with actual performance..
cheers
P.S. i'm not here to insult You even if my idea was phrased a bit harsly =) it was just a thought to consider..not to start war here..- just clearing out =)
