Keyframing materials properties ?

Hi, I have a question about animating materials properties :

As the upcoming version will have emitting materials, I wonder it it will be possible to animate the color or the intensity of lights : in Blender it is made by using IPO curves, but I don't think that these curves will be exportable in Octane, so the ability of keyframing color and emitting values in Octane would be great ! ;)

Is this kind of feature on the list of future features ?

Hi,

We will have custom parameters via an IPO curve from your host app in the beta 2.3 final,
and we are adding IPO curves to octane at a later time, not too distant in the future, i can't say when as there's more pressing things to implement ;)

Hi,

It's been a while since the last reply, however, I am still curious how is it going in regards to animation of material properties. For example:
-animating lights (fading them in and out). I have only been able to find this http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... =21&t=7590.
-animating other material properties during an animation, for example color, transparency etc.

You mentioned it would be released in 2.3 version, however the current one is 2.52 already.

Thanks and keep up the good work.
