important note: beta2.3 will become v1.0 final [OBSOLETE]

Hi all,
After a lot of thought, we've decided to change our version naming.
As most of you know, we'll be releasing the beta 2.3 soon,
which will be more or less a complete render engine in terms of features for architecture and product visualization markets, and small-scale animation.
Beta 3 will add support for instancing and collada/RIB.
One of the issues we're currently facing is that we're more or less at the same level of development than our commercial competitors, but we're not receiving much attention such as reviews in magazines etc due to the word 'beta' being in our version name.
Therefore, we've decided that beta 2.3 will be the last beta that brings new features.
We will, after the beta 2.3 final is released, start debugging it based on feedback,
and then we will start releasing v1.0 RC1, RC2, etc... on a short term frequency before we go gold with v1.0 final.
Basically, nothing changes for customers, don't be alarmed, you will all get what you were promised with the beta program, just the names/versions change.
Basically:
* beta 2.3 is the last beta with new features
* v1.0 is beta 2.3 fully debugged
* v1.1 will be what we've been calling beta 3 (instancing, collada/RIB)
* v1.2 will be beta 4
etc...
So, nobody should be alarmed, we're still finished all promised features in the v1.x releases,
we just need to get a final version out so we can get reviews in magazines, and start building business relations.
The price will go up once v1.0 final is released, as we're currently charging less what octane is worth in our view. When we hit v1.0 final, the retail price of a license will become 199 EUR.
That's it, i hope you understand why we're doing this and that we're happy to keep everyone updated on changes like these.
Yours,
Radiance
