A personal project (just for fun),

all the shoots were made in AO mode 3min. each (7000x8190), just an HDRI and a couple of lightplane for illumination.
It started with the intention to make a closeup of the shelves and the stair, but now I'd like to "play" with the entire room (I hope to can stay with the DL+AO kernel)
...I know that the seat of the stair is really horrible, but I haven't got any alternative idea
Critiques and suggestions are appreciate.

Cheers, paolo

Great work ! Just, maybe a little problem of UV mapping on the wood poles : not always same scale of texture grain on every poles, and dark areas close to the tips.

Incredible use of the AO kernel. All the images are great, but the first two are simply perfect. I wish I could produce images as good as those. Congratulations.

I've noticed several UV errors on your books.

Thank you very much Paquito but for my opinion you are able to produce images equal or better than those (and you usually work with complicated scene); I'd like to produce this kind of result with full environment scene and not only with colose-up.....we will see what will come out when the whole scene will be completed

merid888, for the first view (test1_camera_alta) exp:1,17 f-stp:2,8 iso:136 sat:0,79 vignetting:0 camera response: max zoom 800CD
for the second view (test_camera_vista_bassa) exp:1 f-stp:2,8 iso:100 sat:1 vignetting:0,5 camera response: Agfacolor HDC400PLUS
for the third view (test_camera1) exp:1,16 f-stp:2,8 iso:129 sat:0,82 vignetting:0 camera response: max zoom 800CD
for the fourth view (test_camera2) exp:1,17 f-stp:2,8 iso:136 sat:0,79 vignetting:0 camera response: max zoom 800CD
...adjusted the exposure in post + little color correction + light vignetting only to the bottom part of the images

kavorka, thanks for the information (the books were imported from other scenes), could you tell me exactly which are the books?

Cheers, Paolo

no script for the books they are only few (more or less 20), simply they are organized in little blocks (from 3 to 6 books per block) that are positioned in different places on the shelf (only 3 variations of positioning, for a better job at least 4 or 5 variation).
The HDRI gives the 85/90% of the illumination but no bouncing light, the planes are positioned for lighting darker areas and for giving extra reflections
