I didn't change anything since the last time I used Octane, but when I click inside the render viewport as it's rendering, there is no response. Doing this used to change the focus to the area of the object I clicked on, and the render would start anew. Now, I get no response; the renderer just continues on as if I've done nothing at all.

I tried resetting the CUDA device, enabling/disabling autofocus, and toggling on/off the Poser Focus button (the 'eye' button). What am I doing wrong? I'm sure I'm just missing something. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi. Have you activated focus picking by clicking the AF button?

Hi Paul,

AF 'button'? In the "Settings" tab, under "camera" I have autofocus = Enabled. When I click inside the viewport on any scene element, the render does not restart and the focus does not change. I tried clicking in the scene on several different objects at varying distances and it just get rendering, as if it was oblivious to my clicking.

An AF button was added to the viewport a month or so back. Mouse over the button for details.

Oh, dear me I missed that. I must admit, I am horribly guilty of not reading the release notes before downloading your newest release... ever. Sorry about that! But thanks for the help. Happy Easter to ya!
