Hi,
Just purchased also and just made a test with simple figure V5 (default).
But I have some probleme on smoothing and shadow with default daylight.
I test to apply smooth modifier, but no result, increase subdiv ? no result also.
How do you get smooth figure from default ? very noticing on the ear.

I have no enough time to test now but will check it again tomorrow.
thanks.
For the first approach, I was a bit disapointed :| . Exporting to standalone get better result by default.
But I think that I have some wrong settings !
Thanks for the plugin t_3.

Theres currently a bug that seems to start the plugin as if the use base geomtries for rendering (in preferences tab) is selected.

First toggle this on and off to see if the Daz sub division kicks in.

There are other things that may make smooth surfaces appear to cause unsmoothed shadows on themselves (most commonly on Genesis bent geometry like knees, elbows and shoulders)

Things to watch out for

BUMP - One setting does not fit all make sure you have it set as low as needed to achieve the effect and match it with your camera distance. If you don't need it turn it to off images will clear faster and often you can't tell the difference.

High bump settings will artificially increase this effect with some lighting conditions

RAYEPSILON - The majority of the time you will have this set on 0. In some cases for smoother shadows in some lighting conditions you will want to increase this slightly to as much as 0.0005. Doing this has a side effect of making intersecting geometry including invisible trasparency mapped objects create a visible black mark at the point of intersection.

99.9 percent of the time these things won't cause an issue but you can tweak them away.

Thanks for pointing me to this. The figure is smooth now.
I'm going to explore the plugin...
