I am just testing the new lightwave plugin on an exterior with alot of instancing. I am running a 670 with 4 gig. Using direct lighting.

Really nice image ... perhaps a bit more random rotation in the grass field may improve the realism, and a displacement map for the stone walls

I am trying to use a normal map for stone with not alot of luck so far. Does not seem to read very well. Is displacement really the only way to go? I hate to increase the mesh size.

Octane doesn't have native displacement, you must use LW displacement to get this effect. Anyway next plugin release is going to be a lot faster loading dense meshes

It seems to me that the stone scale on the building is too big. Also, playing with FOV might improve the focal interest of the composition somewhat since the color usage is somewhat 'due-tone'. Otherwise I think this is a very good scene.
Just my take...

really nice picture,
and juanjo has right. will be reallly great to finish your image vpii with some real stones, even if it s a lot of work, you will be well rewarded in the end, because your picture is changing very fast to something of photorealistic.
keep the effort
