Just saw the livestream and was quite suprised to see otoy on the stage at the end
You can watch the recording here: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/30095793
Are there any details on the cloud rendering for Octane yet?
Another thing that got me was that Maxwell the next GPU generation from Nvidia will be able to share the system RAM with the CPU and GPU. Does that open up the possibility that Octane will not be limited by the VRAM in the future?

There was an other renderer called Redshift, it´s a biased renderer.
He shares also the system ram with the GPU.
I think this will be the next step...

Redshift is crazy cool to work with... Im just now comparing how Octane and Redshift can work side-by-side.. Sofar so good Since three days ago, I don't even have to render out matte passes etc in MR anymore.. Redshift does that in a blink of an eye. Octane looks far better though
Sooo... Otoy.. Where is your 112 GPUs hiding? That must mean that you succesfully clustered some computers together with networking right? So, when can we do our own cloud? Please do tell
