Hi, I´m working in Rhino. My question - how do you define different groups from your modelling software - do you group them before export to .obj or does Octane/.obj recognize colors or other?

What kind of information can you transfer via .obj files?

Typically when you export your scene as an obj an mtl file is created as well. This is the way that Octane is able to see that different objects in your scene have different materials.
