Octane attempting to open OBJ file when I start 3DS Max

Hi,
I have this problem that started with one of the recent Octane updates: When I start 3DS Max, it hold up the program from loading with a dialog prompting me to find an OBJ file that it wants to load. It never used to happen. How do I get rid of this?

I should mention that the standalone version of Octane, which I hardly ever use also does something similar. It does a funny thing where it will load some old file I created and merge it with a new scene. I would workaround it by deleting the node for the OBJ that it loaded. I am guessing that the problem is related to what I am now experiencing in 3DS Max since Octane Max references the standalone product.

Any guidance on this will be appreciated!

Probably you have this file
%appdata%\OctaneRender\defaults.ocs

Just delete it if you have one.

Thank you. I searched and didn't find the file.
There is a file called max2octane.ini in "AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsmax\2011 - 64bit\enu\plugcfg" that has the following content:

[Binary]
value=C:\Program Files\Refractive Software\OctaneRender 1.025 beta2.52\octane.exe
[Checkboxes]
chk_GPU=false
[GPU]
edt_GPU=0
[ProjectPath]
value=E:\OctaneOutput\Products

There is also a file called max2octane_1022g.ms in the scripts folder.
Other than these I think there are only the octane program files.

Check you octane standalone preferences settings/Default Content Author Settings.
