OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v1.11a[Test]

BUG FIXES SINCE LAST RELEASE:
  • Incorrect samples amount for animation
  • Wrong material assignment for instances
  • gpu priority settings are not saved properly
This version requires video driver 301.42 or higher.

Limitations on old cards
The PMC kernel and the matte material options don't work on old graphics cards (GTX 2xx, compute model < 2.0).

DOWNLOAD

We have 4 separate archives available for download, for Autodesk® 3ds max® 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Each archive contains the manual and installation text file, and both 32bit and x64 versions of the plugin,
so you only need to download one archive for your 3ds max® version from the following download links:

I have this error once a day with lots of recent versions. Just close and re-open 3dmax again. YOur render may start but you could get "render failed" from time to time with a cryptic "device error" message in the report window.

@Karba

spherical and cilindrical camera option is good but the viewport feedback is useless, at 360-180 degrees we don't see anything in the viewport.

For me you should adopt an helper that works only in the Octane viewport or add an option to switch on-off Max viewport feedback.

Probably I have to limit fov for 3dsmax viewport
