Chiming In

Radiance got away for the weekend to get away from all the chatter re the license.
I get away on weekends and on holidays to test and and try things I simply don't have time to do at work. My work is hectic and deadline orientated and when a project is due I will use whatever software tool gets it delivered in the time needed. I often don't get to try new techniques that I see on the forum or read up in magazines or be that creative at all.
When I am away form work, away from home, AWAY from e-mail and calendars... away form internet... with no deadlines and no interruptions... I get to learn and try new and creative stuff.
I can easily learn something else and apply it to Octane later... but yeah... I'd be bummed if it was internet only license. It may not be a democratic decision. If thats what keeps Octane in business I would do it to and I would still purchase the software. Its too good not too. No software is perfect in every way. Its the best tool for the job at hand that gets used.
Just a chime... not a loud bell.
