Here is the first shot sent to the client for his bus presentation. Direct light, but Diffuse mode this time.

Looks really good - why not try PMC at 8000 samples? then your metal rails will give off some caustics!

That kind of metal looks mostly matte in real life, I don´t think it should make caustics like a chrome material would. In fact I was trying to use AO only, but switching to diffuse -just in this case- really added an extra punch in lightning.

Nice, but too much glare for my taste. Theres something weird happening to my eyes, with the fabric hanging in the middle + the glare makes it looks like looking into a funny mirror..

Those are plastic curtains covering the mechanism of the joint, where the bus articulates. That weird mirror-like effect, i guess is in the nature of the scene, since the bus is totally simetric.

I agree about the glare, but I decided, knowing the way that client thinks, it will sell the image very well to him, but yes, its excessive. Anyways he loved it, spectacular was his exact word... Lol... i love how you can make this eye-candy effects for certain people, and also how Octane can give this kind of look that really catches the eye of my clients

really a nice job Paquito, I agree for the strong glare effect but it doesn't kill the render
