how about pressing a key to frame a node selected in the ""outliner "" ?
how about grouping nodes ?

nuke, shake, fusion, flame, etc. style...very good
please add embedded basic compositing capabilities too, so we (plugin users) can use the standalone version as tool to refine our renders.
PDplayer is a useful tool for example.

thank you! i've been wanting this for a while! very helpful for scenes with lots of materials and mesh nodes.

Very Cool, Looking forward to this new functionality!
Have you checked out rhino's parametric modeling plugin Grasshopper? it has a similar look and feel. It has a nice UI function to save zoomed in locations of the graph so you can quickly zoom to a specific part of the nodeGraph by picking a view name from a dropdown menu. I'd imagine on complex scenes it would make things easier to navigate without haveing to look too closesly at node names.
