Some tests I made
I animate in lw export to blender and export to octane.
octane render time 47 sec on an old 8800gts
lightwave native render 2m 28 sec on same machine old qc6600
How do I extract alpha in octane? Will renderbuffers and exr support be soon for octane?

Very smooth.
I love the texture/UV work.
Add some environmental geometry with trees and rocks/grass.
And come back to us

Radiance you just made my day!
hadn't seen that anywhere yet, so I'm very pleased to hear it, as I do a lot of stuff where I need that alpha channel Thank you you guys are awesome.

Thanks guys. I'm just trying out the blender exporter. Works great but I'm not so used to blender but its the only way for lightwave to octane for now.
Good to hear exr and buffers support radiance. I would love to composite this dino with the shadow, alpha, buffers, etc to a scene.
