I had the plugin work for me before, but I had to reinstall maya, now when I reinstall the plugin, it doesnt work. I get errors like:

// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "octaneCamera".

// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "octaneSun".

etc, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, not really sure what to do, any ideas? Thanks!

Can you please describe in detail, what versions of Maya and plugin are, how you have reinstalled them, what you do when you get these errors... I need more detailed info to try to analyse the reason of your problems...

v1.0 RC3c beta

My maya licensing had become screwed up from deleting app data from my temp directory. I fixed the problem, reinstalled maya and the plugin but it doesnt work. When i get these errors I can do anything, maya works fine, but I can do anything....the shelf of all the octane stuff is there, but I click on lets say, place camera, and it gives me that error, same for everything else.

Check please the "Plug-In Manager" - is the Octane plugin loaded into Maya?
If yes - can you post here the messages which the plugin outputs during loading?

Ok im an idiot. The plugin was loaded but auto load was not checked, I didnt think that mattered by when I checked it. Things seem to work again. thanks for your responses.
