Is demo locked to only *.ocs files?

Im trying to open a .obj file exported from 3ds max 2011, but the open dialog only shows .ocs files and the only item on the file type select menu is *.ocs? i assumed it woiuld be an import operation as there is a menu for import setings but no option to actualy import as far as i can see, am i missing something?

Yes you are
Right click in the Graph Editor area (bottom left window) and Add>object>mesh>
btw this instruction is also in the readme.txt in the download...

you should watch the demo video tutorials, they explain everything from A to Z and are linked on the downloads page, the big question mark sign in the top left of that page...
