Hi,
When it's ready.
We need to finish the new feature that will destroy piracy before we release it.
Once we're done with it we will provide an intermediate release.

is it pushing back the release version that will introduce MLT (2.3 rc2) as well ?

yes, it's a lot of work.
on the other hand, you will love it, it will open a vast array of new things
