Objects alpha

Hi,
first, excuse my english, i dont speak very well...
Is there a way to make an object unseen in the alpha like in vray ? (for exemple the floor)

I think i have my answer, there's a matte option in the material editor of the 1.01 version.
But i have a big problem with this version... when i open the material editor, the materials dont appear... and i have to restart max because it crash...
I'm on windows 8, i have a gforce 580 gtx and i have installed the latest version of the nvidia drivers (310.90).
With the 1.0 RC3, no problem.
Any solution ?

Cette fois j'écris en français vu que tous le monde s'en fout au niveau du support...
Si on a besoin de rien, on peut faire appel à vous les mecs !
La réponse à mon probleme venait de windows 8. Je suis revenu au 7 et ça marche nickel.

Currently it is impossible to set custom object properties.
Regarding win8. Could you check your GPU configuration tab in octane tab. Does it show any cuda devices?

In some future it will be, but not in close future.
