I simulated a quick driving animation in C4D to test the lighting/rendering functionality of Octane Render. Details and a quick breakdown in the video. Texture work on the ground is rough -- I mainly wanted to get a feel for the potential of balancing an HDRi environment with blackbody lights.

-Animated in C4D. Car simulated with Drive! 1.5
-Rendered with Octane Render with direct lighting @ 800 s/px with DoF
-Composited in After Effects

After creating this I've got a couple of things for the Octane wish list:
-Object visibility toggle (for reflective lighting that can be hidden from camera)
-Object motion blur
-Motion blur sub-sampling (particularly for wheel spin)

Enjoy

@paoloverona: I used Drive! 1.5, second on this page --> http://www.c4dplugin.de/indexx.php?l=en&p=shop

@face: Thanks! I tried that vimeo tag, but it didn't seem to do anything in the forum preview. Perhaps I had to 'submit' the post to see it?
