Why my gtx580 (1500mb) shows (1250mb) in the viewport?
I use it only for rendering, the monitor on my gtx460.

Well, it shows how much memory octane can take. Usually some memory (~200mb) is taken by the system any way.

But stendelon version does not use ~200mb right?
Because stendelon shows -/1536/1536.
Just plug 3ds =/ sorrowfully

You can run 3dsmax with standalone and check standalone statistic
