importing a background image

I need to position the camera around an object in that way that it matches perfectly on an existing shot.
Of course I could do that in an 3D app and export the camera to octane but it would be better to simple have that functionality in Octane.

Just a load BG image option that stretches the image uniform to the extents of the resolution and doesn't consider the image for any light, matte and shadow calculation.

I myself was astonished to find that this is not an option -- how is that even possible? You would think that this is the first order of business in any 3D app... you know - for compositing and stuff.

The lack of background image is thus far my only complaint.. I love everything else!

Please, someone, make this happen..

Also - I am confused -- Refracty, how are you on the Octane Render Team (I assume that means employee) and need to ask for this feature on the forums?
