I really love how Octane picks up speed with a lot of awesome features! Love the white balance on the ortho shot too. :)

yipeeh, so the next step is a spherical camera.

I like to see the fast improvements.

Ya, looks like they are really kicking into gear now with 1.0 released. Makes sense, there were some big changes that took a lot of time like instancing. Now they can spend there time on the smaller, but very important features.

Are there other cameras planned/being developed? Like a spherical panorama camera (not sure what the actual name for it is)?

Gotta say though, I love checking the forums several times a day now, seems to be a lot going on :)

Otoy takes this software way more seriously than its creator; no more hiding behind the bushes or delays. I'm starting to take this software seriously again, and we can say almost certainly Octane will be a great success

Most interesting. This will allow to use renders as textures for other renders ! Like buildings façades, for example !
