A guy in facebook wrote me how to use movable proxies. I wanted to try it, but when i right clicked i had no "Octane Properties" in the flyout menu. I started 3DS in english and it showed up. I started german again and no "Octane properties". I tried to reset Autodesk to its defaults and still no success!

Can anybody help please - for now i work in english autodesk version, but its very hard for me.

What octane version do you use?
Did you select Octane as render?

Hi Kaba!

It´s all in my Signature. I use the final version. Of course i selcted Octane as Render Engine. It works without problems in english interface, so in french and so on. Just german does not display it!

Well, I can't check it. I have only english 3dsmax. Do you have any other such menu issue with german 3dsmax?

Kaba - normaly 3ds is delivered in many languages. just go to your start menu/all programs/autodesk/autodesk 3ds design 2013 64 bit/Languages .

There you should find all kind of languages. Start for example french, or german.....it is in all languages just not in german. I have also Vray in my flout meny - works without problems. never had any issues in my fly out menu - just octane does not show up! I try to make a screenshot and add! Will be in this reply in a few minutes!

Here are the promised screenshots - should be clear now!
i allready tried to set max back to its defaults and i also did a complete reset - with no success. i also tried it on another compter - same result. seems to be a bug?

As i said it is very hard for me to work in english Interface!

Karba have you found out anything? Or anybody else - have you any idea what i can try to get this to work? I really need movable proxies!

I am sorry. I can't fix it immediately. I need to finish some other stuff first.
