Train Path

I have been meaning to start creating an entry for the animation competition, a week or so ago I began creating a marble track of sorts and soon realized that I have no interest in creating such a thing at the moment. So I turned to my brother and we came up with this concept.
A train drives on through the railway, a crane operated by an "evil" capsule drops a crate loaded with marbles onto the track. The train then enters a station only to find more trouble. I am still yet to work out what exactly will happen but it's basically a good physics exercise for me. Plus this animation will have the most advanced models I have created ever (though my standard is very low
).
This is still very early, it still hasn't seen very much texture work as of yet and the scene will be far more decorated (hopefully) before the deadline.
Overall the scene is fairly low-poly, however the marbles take up around 700k poly's, leading to total to be 788160 tri's. The close-up image rendered for 2 minutes and the other took 1 minute.
