Hello everybody.

I just disovered Octane and installed the demo version.
I watched some video on the main page and quick tutorial on vimeo but i didn't find anything about how materials works
So i am looking for a help documentation about the software in general and materials.

Furethemore, does the maya shelf is only avaible with full licensed version ? I can't find it


ps: i quickly tested an hdri file, but i found the file loaded inside octane is not updating when the source hdr file located in my destkop is changing (i like to paint the hdri myself)

Hi,

The PDF manual is currently only included with the commercial version,
however we're including a manual in the next 2.3 demo releases.

Currently we just point demo users to watch the tutorial video(s) on our videos page.
The maya exporter plugin is currently also not available to demo users yet as we're still aligning all plugins and then documenting them for demo users.

Octane currently does not automatically update changed files / textures, you will have to reload them with the reload button on the texture node's parameters.
