i want to buy octane, some questions before...

If now i buy octane and max plug for 179€ can i will download also the official release when it comes out?

I've try the demo but material converter don't work..why?
i have already posted this question whiteout answers: why i can't see lights and materials inside the viewport in max?

as for the question about the official release. If you buy it now, your license will be good for the beta and all 1.x versions. You would need to buy 2.0.
