Hi,
I'm want to to buy a Clevo laptop p370em for rendering - architecture and interior design - ( it's need to laptop, no desktop ) and i'm confused: which video card will be better and faster in octane?
2 x 680m sli 8Gb, kepler or.
2 x 670m sli 3Gb, fermi..Or maybe one 680m will be faster then 2x 670?

I need to choose smomething from this:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M 1.5GB GDDR5
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670MX 3.0 GB GDDR5 28nm Preorder!
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX (N13E-GSR) 4GB GDDR5 28nm Preorder
2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M 3.0GB GDDR5 SLI [+700.00zł]
2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670MX 6.0GB GDDR5 SLI Preorder
ATI Radeon HD 7970M 2.0GB GDDR5 [+700.00zł]
2 x ATI Radeon HD 7970M 4.0GB GDDR5, CROSS FIRE
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M 4.0GB GDDR5 [+1900.00zł]
2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M 8.0GB GDDR5, SLI
NVIDIA QUADRO K3000M (N14E-Q1) 2GB GDDR5

Sorry for my English and thanks for answers.

Octane requires a NVidia card

Is 670 is also kepler.

I would imagine the 680 should be better than the 670.

desktop: gtx 670 is kepler (cuda 1344 )
laptop: gtx 670m is fermi (cuda: 336 )
laptop: gtx 670mx is kepler ( cuda: 960 )

laptop: gtx 680m is kepler (cuda: 1344 )
desktop: gtx 580 fermi ( cuda: 512 )

So - if gtx 580 is the best choice for octane and it's better then 6xx series kepler card, then maybe
2 x gtx 670m fermi is faster in octane then 2 x gtx 680m kepler? For sure 2 x 670m vs. 2x 680m is 1000 Euro less expensive...

Based on the info you show, the more processors there are usually the better the performance. The desktop: gtx 670 is kepler (cuda 1344 )
VS laptop: gtx 680m is kepler (cuda: 1344 ) should have similar experience, the advantage is you can add more cards to the deaktop and the amount of video memory on the 670 may be more than that on the mobile 680m
