Lights set to not be visible aren't throwing light anymore..

When I first started working with Octane in Max, I could un-check the 'visible' parameter on an Octane Light and have it not appear in the rendering, yet still project light into the scene.

Ever since I updated to the latest stable build for Max 2013, if I set a light to not be visible it also turns the light off.

Am I doing something wrong? Something change? Just a bug?

Thanks!

So a little more info: I did a 'fresh' install on another computer, and don't have this issue. Weird!

Possibly is it old Max plugin/DLLs files from older builds still being in the Max folder? I tried removing what I thought were the old files, as what you have to 'install' has changed over time, but this simply made Max fail to load altogether.

If no one has any ideas I'll just re-install everything with the latest RC and see if it fixes things, but I was hoping to not waste the time to do so!
