Hi,
We don't have a rhino plugin yet, but we're looking into getting one together, check back on the forum for more news in a few weeks...

Yes, I am really looking forward to a Rhinoscript/export plugin for Octance.
This could make the workflow significantly better.
Thanks!

I want to add my vote for a Rhino plugin. Right now I use Maxwell Render, but as soon as Octane is available for Rhino I'll switch. Maxwell's CPU based rendering is so 2009.

As the plugins only wrap a user interface for exporting camera position and animation frame rendering around the app's obj exporter,
there's nothing holding you back from using octane without a pluin. (for stills)
99% of the images in our gallery were all made without the plugins. (last time i added new images to it there were not plugins around)

Hi Radiance,
at the moment if I export a scene from Rhino to Octane with .obj file I have some problems with materials (uv mapper) and layers as I have written in a old message inside the forum. I have read this topic and I have thought that these exporter problems would be been resolved with the plug-in. Perhaps I wrong something and I'd like to know if someone has these problems like me and if and how has resolved them without to use other 3d program between Rhino and Octane.
Thanks in advance
Have a great day!
Garcia

There are quite a few posts about rhino specific OBJ export and even screenshots of exporter settings.
maybe use the forum search function and have a look around.
I try to move everything usefull into the public resources forum.
