Hi octaners
Here is an image I've made for a challenge about Philip K Dick
Mod Zbrush, render with Octane (DL), smoke/rays & dust photoshop
Hope you'll like

love sci-fi and this image has a lot of drama, like a whole story there. it would also be interesting to see how much more realism it can have with octane. image still has that sci-fi book-cover feel to it, I guess you meant it this way?

Nice, but could look better IMO if you didn't over-use the bump mapping. It reminds me of old 90's bump map when people discovered they could use it.
Also maybe if you can smooth the hair or get more polys on it (for the child)

But I like it so far, quite different from what we're used to see in this gallery. well done :)

Thank you both for the feedback
Book-cover style is indeed what I was aiming for. No photorealism at all, however I agree some more can be worth a try
I had to reduce quite a bit some geometry complexity & texture sizes for the scene to fit in memory (1.5go), therefore some part may seem cheap

I also agree for the bump, looking at it these days.I should have step back a couple of days before the deadline to evaluate it more accuretely.

cheers
