Hi,
I've been having 3 frustrating days trying to install Octane Render without success.
Would appreciate some help please

I am running Win XP Pro 32bit in Bootcamp
System: Mac Pro Dual Quad
Graphics Card: Nvidia 8800 GT

I have installed the CUDA driver
Extracted Octane Render
Tried to run both octane8000 & octane9000 but keep getting the same message as follows:
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the
application may fix this problem".

I've rebooted, re-extract umpteen times but still ended up at the same square.
Help! What did I do wrong?

Do I need to install the CUDA driver in the Mac OSX environment before booting to Win XP?

looks like you need to install the visual studio redistributable.
