The bottom image makes it look like smoke is coming from a fire in the distance. I would suggest a different background. The sky shouldnt start at the edge of the runway. and clouds wouldnt be there either.

the images look good, but I agree - because the clouds are dark at the horizon it looks like heavy smoke in the background.

The ground is a photo took by yourself or is a Photoshopped texture?

Great model and good textures.
However, the plane looks too clean (and hence CG) when compared to the real-world environment.
Maybe roughing up the textures a bit could result in a more believable image.

Why not heavy smoke in the background?
