Feature Request : Negative Scaling in Transform node.

For example, scaling half a building by -1 in X or Y would allow to easily make symmetrical buildings by instancing an half model. Currently, it is doable at export by making a scatter file in Blender, but it would add some flexibility if we could directly symetrize into Octane by negative scaling.

That should indeed be possible. We will fix it in one of the next releases.

Negative scaling for mirrored meshes: cool idea.

Speaking of next releases, Roeland, how far away from finishing the v1 feature set are we?
End of the year?
Really I think most things originally proposed have been done now havent they?
I know it was envisaged there would be 1.x releases but I think aside from maybe a final bug fixing 1.1 there probably isnt a need for those.
I mean I dont expect Otoy to keep developing Octane indefinitely without revisiting their customers wallets. ;)
And..well ..it will have been 3 years in Jan since I purchased a license. :)

@pixelrush, even if they finalize 1.0 tomorrow, we still have the promised 1.0 -> 2.0 period of free upgrades, so don't ready your wallet just yet... :)

@pixelrush:i think that the integrated plugins policy it's a good way to get money for Otoy, more integrated plugins more money ;)
