Have not posted for quite a bit. This scene is meant to resemble an old type of style kitchen.

good but it's dark

In the reality with cameras you can't do a good exposure of exterior light and indoor light compensating both and having a good illumination.

You need a flash light to illuminate the kitchen (simulating it with a planar light) or you have to increase the exposure and the windows will be overexposed.

BTW, The human eye can have different exposure zones on the retina.

That brings me to wonder what exactly is it that we try and simulate with CGI - photography or human vision?

About the work - it's great. The wood on the kitchen counter looks too uniformly glossy - as if made of plastic. Other than that, good details.
