Octane exporter for C4D version 0.12b (current)

Thanks for confirming that ! I'll do it ! I watched a video showing use of the Octane camera tag but it didn't seem to have any "use object for Focal distance" dialogue. Does it get to use what is set up in the Cinema camera options?

yes correct, the Octane Camera Tag works in conjunction with the specific attributes of the c4d Camera especially for Camera focus:
