That is pretty cool.
I wonder if that can be combined with camera tracking so you could add 3D models.
Or maybe you wouldn't need camera tracking, it looks like it creates an image like an HDRI, or just a panorama and wraps it around how we do HDRI's anyway. If that's the case, then it has a 3D space already, and you could potentially add in other 3D elements. Would probably get weird with distortion though.

This is great, installed it before...
you cannot upload your work - its for showing off the technology I guess

looks great, works on iphone and ipad and its free.. you can load a few scenes and move around like that.. on iphone 4 it looks twice as good - pretty cool

now octane could grab themselves some of that ipad/iphone customers with and app like this - and since they are now part of otoy - they can spend some money on developing an app like that - that would utilize octane to output rendered scenes for the ipad - I can see myself using this in work, you know, build an interior and then meet the client inside the room and show him your model - or if you sell empty apartments, it can be a nice marketing tool to show off people how the room can be arranged

Apparently this is supposed to take in a bunch of pictures you take, while rotating around 360 degrees..

So - we make a 360 degree 1 frame per second animation - and apply the renders in this app..

And in turn it appear it works on any browser - including the ipad, iphone and android - sorry didn't check this thoroughly but the if video demonstrates itself correctly this is a great app..

Wandering if there are more apps of this type 360 panorama - intended for photographic or video use - it occurs to me now, there are photo solutions for this feature - I was thinking only around the 3d app space of things..

EDIT: just checking it on the mobile device - has some demos - and works great inside the browser no prob - uses HTML 5 - this is why apple avoided installing flash in any of their mobile devices - because HTML 5 work pretty fast and it is integrated into the browser - it is the browser, where flash has always been an external plugin
