I wonder if anyone came up with a maxScript to handle the z-up / y-up translation as yet?

cheeky I know, but matrices give me brain freeze!

Well there's stuff here that could be 'borrowed' to achieve this in other apps
Look at the nearby threads about 'instancing' and converting matrices between the two 'formats'...
